AddOn 3m LOMM Duplex LC/LC Patch Cable

This laser-optimised multimode fibre cable connects patch panels, switches, hubs, media converters and routers using duplex LC connectors. It is built for network technicians and installers who need reliable 10 gigabit links over short distances in enterprise or data-centre environments.

OM4 fibre rated for 2000 MHz/km EMB at 850 nm

The cable supports 10 gigabit transfers up to 300 metres with an 850 nm VCSEL source while remaining backward compatible with existing 50/125 µm equipment. Its low-smoke zero-halogen jacket meets plenum fire-safety requirements, allowing in-wall and air-plenum routing without conduit.

Check connector type and link distance before

Verify that both ends of your link use LC duplex ports and that the planned run does not exceed 300 metres for 10 GbE operation. The aqua jacket identifies OM4 grade fibre; ensure your transceivers operate at 850 nm to match the cable specification.

Questions about this item

Which length or OM rating should I pick for a 10 GbE run?

The cable is a fixed 3 m OM4 duplex patch lead; choose it when your link is within 300 m at 850 nm.

What does the 300 m figure mean once the cable is installed?

It is the maximum 10 GbE reach over this OM4 fibre when driven by an 850 nm VCSEL source.

What does the LC/LC duplex interface cap in practice?

Dual LC connectors carry two fibres for full-duplex 10 GbE up to the 300 m OM4 limit.
