27 in Hanging Frame Privacy Screen

This 27 inch hanging frame privacy filter is designed for monitors with a 16:9 aspect ratio. It attaches to the display bezel to restrict side viewing angles and protect on-screen data from visual hacking. The accessory is supplied new from AddOn under part number ADDPRIVSCN169HF27.

Suitable for shared or public workspaces

The filter suits professionals who handle confidential information in open-plan offices, healthcare reception areas or financial service counters. It is not intended for curved monitors, ultra-wide panels or displays that exceed the stated 27 inch diagonal and 16:9 format.

16:9 aspect ratio compatibility

The single specification that decides fit is the 16:9 aspect ratio matched to a 27 inch screen diagonal. Buyers must confirm their monitor matches both values; a different ratio or diagonal will prevent correct installation and full surface coverage.

Questions about this item

Will this 27 in 16:9 privacy screen fit the monitor I already own?

Measure the active display area — it must be exactly 27 inches diagonal with a 16:9 aspect ratio; the hanging frame hooks over the top bezel so the monitor needs a flat upper edge at least 3 mm thick.

How can I verify the filter is working once it is hung?

View the screen straight on — text and images should look normal — then step to the side; the display should darken and become unreadable from an angle, confirming the privacy layer is active.

Does the package include mounting hardware or do I need to buy anything extra?

The box contains the privacy filter with integrated hanging frame only; no screws, adhesive strips or cleaning cloth are supplied, so purchase those separately if your monitor lacks a suitable top bezel.
