This AddOn AJ716A-AO transceiver delivers 8 Gbps Fibre Channel connectivity over multi-mode fibre at 850 nm wavelength. It uses an LC duplex connector and reaches 300 m on OM3 or OM4 cable. The module follows the SFP+ form factor and is built to MSA standards for broad switch compatibility. It is suited for data-centre and storage-area-network links within a rack or row.
