Ergonomic Split-Key Design

The Adesso AKB-150EB Tru-Form 150 is a wired USB gaming keyboard built with a split key zone and gently sloped shape to encourage natural hand, wrist, and forearm positioning. A built-in palm rest and split spacebar further support comfort during extended sessions. It targets users who want an ergonomic layout without mechanical switch noise.

3-Color Backlighting and Hotkeys

Three backlight colours — green, blue, and red — are selectable with a single keystroke for low-light visibility. The keyboard includes 20 dedicated multimedia and internet hotkeys for media playback, volume, browser navigation, and common system functions. Membrane switches rated to five million keystrokes keep typing quiet.

USB Interface with Legacy Windows Support

Connection is made through a standard USB port, and the supplier lists compatibility with Windows 2000, XP, and Vista. No mouse is included. Buyers on modern Windows versions or non-Windows platforms should verify driver support before purchase.

Questions about this item

Will the split-key layout and USB plug work with the older Windows XP machine I still use?

Yes, the keyboard supports Windows 2000, XP and Vista and connects through a standard USB port, so it will function on that system.

How can I confirm the three backlight colours are cycling correctly after I plug it in?

Press the dedicated brightness LED switch; the illumination should step through green, blue and red with each press, showing the feature is active.

Does the box include the detachable wrist rest and the multimedia hotkey labels, or do I need to buy them separately?

The built-in palm rest is integrated into the keyboard, and the 20 multimedia and internet hotkeys are printed on the keycaps, so nothing extra is required.
