Mechanical numeric keypad with Cherry Red switches

The Adesso EasyTouch 600UB is a wired USB numeric keypad built around 19 keys and Cherry MX Red mechanical switches. It connects through a 6 foot cable and works immediately on Windows 7 through 11 and Mac OS 10.4 or above without installing drivers. The compact unit measures 5.4 by 3.6 by 1.3 inches and weighs 0.77 lb, so it sits neatly beside a full-size keyboard.

Suited for data entry and accounting work

This keypad targets users who need a dedicated number block for spreadsheets, accounting software or frequent numeric input. The linear Red switches require low actuation force and are rated for 50 million keystrokes, supporting extended typing sessions. Buyers who want wireless freedom, backlighting, programmable macros or a different switch feel should look at other models.

Cherry MX Red linear switches rated for 50 million

The defining specification is the switch type: Cherry MX Red linear switches with a 50 million keystroke lifecycle. This choice determines the typing feel, actuation force and long-term durability of the keypad. If your workflow demands tactile feedback, clicky sound or a different durability rating, this switch specification makes the product unsuitable.

Questions about this item

What desk space does the 5.4 x 3.6 x 1.3 inch keypad need?

The compact 5.4 by 3.6 by 1.3 inch footprint and 0.77 lb weight let it sit beside any full-size keyboard without crowding the work surface.

How do I install the USB wired keypad and what step is often missed?

Plug the 6 foot USB cable into a free port; Windows 7 through 11 and Mac OS 10.4 or later recognise it instantly with no driver download required.

When will the Cherry Red switches need replacement?

Each switch is rated for 50 million keystrokes, so under normal data-entry use the keypad should last for years before any switch wears out.
