Wireless connectivity & scanning range

The Adesso NUSCAN 3500 is a wireless 2D barcode scanner that offers dual connectivity through Bluetooth 3.0 and 2.4GHz wireless technology. It provides an operating range up to 118ft in open areas. The advanced CMOS engine reads 1D and 2D symbologies including QR, Data Matrix and PDF 417 from distances of 1.97 to 11.81 inches.

Rugged environments vs stationary setups

This scanner suits retail, warehouse, healthcare and mobile field workers who need IP67 waterproof protection and 10ft drop resistance. The 700mAh battery delivers up to 10,000 scans per charge with a 2-3 hour recharge. Buyers needing a fixed-mount presentation scanner or a cabled USB-only device should consider other form factors.

IP67 waterproof rating

The IP67 rating guarantees complete protection against dust ingress and water immersion, allowing the unit to be washed or sanitised regularly. Combined with the silicone-plastic construction and 10ft drop specification, this single durability metric determines whether the scanner survives the target environment.
