Fixed-mount 2D USB barcode scanner

The Adesso NuScan4500T is a desktop barcode scanner that connects via USB and reads 1D and 2D codes from a fixed position. Its CMOS sensor captures QR codes, Data Matrix and PDF417 symbols at up to 24 inches per second motion tolerance. The hands-free design suits retail, grocery, library, medical and hospitality counters where speed and reliability matter.

Hands-free workflows, not mobile scanning

This unit suits businesses that need a stationary scanner for continuous, presentation-style reading at a checkout or service desk. It is not intended for workers who must carry a scanner around a warehouse, scan from a vehicle or operate untethered from a host computer.

24 inches per second motion tolerance

The CMOS engine tolerates barcode movement up to 24 inches per second, deciding whether fast-sliding items are read on the first pass. If your workflow presents codes more slowly, the scanner will still perform; if items move faster, a higher-tolerance model would be required.
