Wireless Ergonomic Desktop Set

The Adesso TruForm WKB-1600CB-FR combines a split-layout membrane keyboard with an optical mouse on a single 2.4 GHz receiver. It targets office workers who want a more natural typing posture without learning a new key arrangement. Both peripherals run on standard AAA batteries for simple maintenance.

Bundled Mouse and Hotkeys

The included mouse adds three selectable DPI levels at 800, 1200 and 1600 plus forward and back navigation buttons. Ten Windows hotkeys and seven multimedia keys on the keyboard handle common tasks such as media control, calculator launch and sleep without leaving the home row. Low-battery indicators on both devices warn before power fails.

Single 2.4 GHz Receiver

One nano USB dongle connects both keyboard and mouse up to 30 ft away, leaving other ports free. The membrane switches keep noise low in shared spaces while the fixed 19.80" width demands adequate desk depth. Buyers needing programmable macros or mechanical key feel should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How often will I need to replace the AAA batteries in the keyboard and mouse?

The keyboard and mouse each run on two AAA batteries and include low-battery indicators to show when a change is needed.

What limits continuous use before the wireless link drops?

The 2.4 GHz radio link is rated for 30 ft (10 m) so distance is the first limit under sustained use.

Does the optical mouse generate noticeable heat or noise during all-day operation?

The optical sensor has no moving parts and the mouse includes an auto-sleep mode, so it stays silent and cool during extended sessions.
