Subscription scope

It includes full versions of Lightroom on desktop and mobile, Photoshop on desktop and iPad, and Lightroom Classic on desktop. The plan is a standalone product and does not renew or extend the separate 20 GB Photography Plan. Activation requires an Adobe ID, internet connection, and acceptance of the license agreement.

Sustained editing workflow

The suite supports generative AI features such as Firefly-powered prompt editing, Generative Remove, and Generative Upscaling via Topaz Labs for ongoing creative work. Lightroom Classic enables local catalog management alongside cloud sync, while Photoshop provides advanced compositing and retouching tools for long-form projects. Continuous updates are delivered through the Creative Cloud desktop app throughout the subscription term.

Platform access and requirements

The subscription covers Windows and macOS desktop apps plus iPadOS and iOS mobile apps, all delivered via digital download. Windows systems need a 64-bit Intel or AMD processor, Windows 10 version 1511 or later, 4 GB of RAM (8 GB recommended), and 1 GB of VRAM (2 GB suggested for high-resolution monitors). Users must be at least 13 years old; 3D features require 512 MB VRAM or more.

Questions about this item

How much internet bandwidth does the Creative Cloud Photography Plan 1TB need for daily background syncing of 1 TB of photos?

The plan requires an internet connection to activate and use Adobe services. Sync speed depends on your connection; large libraries will take longer to upload or download across Lightroom desktop, mobile, and Classic.

Which operating system and hardware must I already have to install Lightroom Classic and Photoshop from this subscription?

You need a 64-bit Intel or AMD processor, Windows 10 version 1511 or later or macOS, at least 4 GB RAM (8 GB recommended), and 1 GB VRAM (2 GB suggested for high-resolution monitors).

Will the Generative Fill and Generative Remove features in Photoshop run on my older graphics card with 512 MB VRAM?

3D features are disabled on cards with less than 512 MB VRAM. Generative AI tools rely on cloud processing, so they work if the app launches, but local GPU-accelerated filters may be unavailable.
