Universal Waterproof Case for iPods and Phones

This case fits a wide range of iPods and mobile phones, sealing them against water, dust and scratches. It is built for people who take their device to the beach, pool or other wet environments. The touchscreen remains usable through the protective membrane. Buyers needing a model-specific hard shell or a case with built-in battery will not be served by this universal design.

Submersion Protection and Hands-Free Carry

The silicone membrane seals the device completely and is rated for submersion up to six metres underwater. The detachable strap lets you carry the phone hands-free during travel or outdoor activities. No thermal, noise or power specifications apply to this passive accessory. Users who require active cooling or powered features should look elsewhere.

Six-Metre Waterproof Rating with Touchscreen Access

The defining specification is the six-metre submersion rating combined with an interactive screen cover that allows camera use and full touch control while the case stays sealed. This makes it suitable for underwater photography and harsh conditions. Buyers who need protection beyond six metres depth or a rigid mounting system will need a different product.

Questions about this item

How do I install my phone in the Adorama waterproof case and which step is most often missed?

Open the latch, place the device inside, press the silicone membrane flat to remove air pockets, then snap the latch shut — the step most people skip is smoothing the membrane before sealing.

What maintenance will the Adorama waterproof case need over time?

Rinse the case with fresh water after salt or chlorine exposure, dry the silicone membrane and latch area, and inspect the seal for cracks before each use.

What is the depth limit of the Adorama waterproof case during sustained underwater use?

The case is rated for submersion up to 6 metres; exceeding that depth risks seal failure.
