Household DIY measuring tool
The Adoric digital caliper covers a 0-150mm range with .1mm resolution and ±.2mm accuracy. It is built from plastic carbon fibre composite so it will not scratch finished surfaces. The tool suits woodworking, jewellery and general DIY tasks rather than technical-grade professional work.
Four modes with auto power
Two sets of jaws and a depth probe provide external, internal, depth and step measurement in one instrument. A large LCD switches between inch and millimetre readouts at the press of a button and the zero function lets you start a new reference point anywhere on the scale. The display activates when the rail slides and shuts off after five minutes of inactivity.
Check battery tab before use
A white insulation strip sits inside the battery cover and must be removed before the caliper will power on. The plastic construction keeps the tool light but limits hardness, so verify that the material suits the surfaces you intend to measure. No additional accessories or software are included in the package.

Questions about this item
What battery does the caliper need and how often must it be changed?
It runs on a single button cell; the auto-off after five minutes of inactivity extends battery life, so replacement is infrequent.
Which specification limits repeatable precision during long measuring sessions?
The stated accuracy of ±0.2 mm is the limiting factor for consistent results.
Does the plastic body heat up or make noise when used continuously?
No — the carbon-fibre composite body has no moving electronics, so it stays silent and at ambient temperature.
