35oz Glass Food Storage Jar

The Aebor boliguan jar is a 1000ml clear container made from high borosilicate glass with a bamboo lid. It is designed for home cooks who want airtight storage for dry goods such as flour, coffee beans, rice or spices. The cylindrical shape measures 3.8 in by 3.9 in by 7 in and weighs 610g. The hammer-grain pattern adds a vintage decorative touch to kitchen counters.

Airtight Seal and Temperature Limits

A rubber ring inside the bamboo lid creates an airtight barrier that keeps contents dry and fresh. The glass is rated freezer-safe and refrigerator-safe, while the whole unit is microwave-safe and dishwasher-safe. The bamboo lid itself should not be microwaved or placed in the dishwasher; hand-wash the lid separately to preserve the seal and finish.

Simple Setup and Common Issues

The jar arrives ready to use with no assembly required beyond placing the lid on the glass body. Ensure the rubber ring sits flat in the lid groove before closing to maintain the airtight seal. Overfilling past the 35oz capacity can prevent the lid from seating properly. Avoid sudden extreme temperature shocks to the glass and do not submerge the bamboo lid in water for long periods.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 35oz 1000ml jar or a smaller size?

The 35oz 1000ml capacity holds large bags of flour, oats or coffee beans in one container, reducing the need for multiple jars on the counter.

What does the 1000ml capacity mean for daily kitchen use?

It fits roughly 1kg of dry goods such as rice or sugar, so you can decant a standard pack without overflow and still see the contents through the clear glass.

Is the bamboo lid airtight and does it seal well enough for freezer storage?

A rubber ring inside the bamboo lid creates an airtight seal that keeps moisture out, and the borosilicate glass is rated freezer and refrigerator safe.
