Questions about this item

What base game must I already own on Steam for this OMSI 2 add-on 40889 to activate and run?

You need OMSI 2: Steam Edition installed on the same Steam account; the DLC will not launch without it.

Will the articulated buses NG 235 M18 and GU 240 M18 from this DLC appear in my existing OMSI 2 save games and maps?

Yes, once activated the two Wiener Linien buses and the Line 23A route up to 2005 integrate into the base game and can be selected in any compatible scenario.

After entering the Steam code, how do I confirm the Vienna 2 Line 23A content is properly installed?

Open Steam Library, right-click OMSI 2: Steam Edition, choose Properties then DLC tab — the add-on should show as installed with a check mark.
