What the product is and who it is for

World of Subways 1 – The Path is a downloadable train simulator published by Aerosoft GmbH. It delivers the first instalment of the series, recreating the New York to Newark route that runs beneath the Hudson River. The title targets enthusiasts who want a focused underground and overground driving experience on Steam.

Practical limits of the Steam DRM

Activation requires a Steam account and an internet connection for the initial unlock. The publisher blocks redemption in twenty-two territories including Russia, Ukraine, Iran, Cuba and Venezuela. Buyers in those countries cannot activate the code, and no offline workaround is offered.

Specification that decides fit

The minimum graphics requirement is a card with at least 512 MB of VRAM running on Windows XP through 8. A dual-core processor at 2.6 GHz and 2 GB of system memory complete the baseline. Machines below that threshold will not launch the simulator.

Questions about this item

Is World of Subways 1 - The Path the only version available for this download code?

Yes, model 40893 provides the single World of Subways 1 - The Path simulator; no other versions or capacities are offered with this code.

What does the 2.6 GHz dual-core requirement mean for gameplay on a modern PC?

The game activates through Steam and cannot be redeemed in the blocked countries listed, including RU, CN, IR and others.
