Automatic sharpening for jumbo pencils

The AFMAT PSX6 is a rechargeable electric sharpener designed for 7-11.5mm diameter pencils. It suits artists, students and anyone who needs hands-free operation. The auto in-and-out mechanism grips, sharpens and ejects each pencil without manual pressure. Its compact 3.4 in by 3.4 in by 7.2 in footprint fits easily on a desk or in a bag.

Three tip settings and short-pencil support

Users select blunt, medium or sharp tips to match different drawing styles. The unit sharpens pencils as short as 2.9 inches, reducing waste. A centred clamp design keeps tips symmetrical and helps prevent lead breakage during normal use. The ABS housing and stainless-steel blade assembly weigh 0.621 kilograms.

High-volume durability with replaceable blades

The mechanism is tested on over 10000 pencils for consistent performance during extended sessions. A large shavings tray and removable blade cartridge simplify maintenance between heavy workloads. Replacement blades are available separately to keep the sharpener running long term. Power is supplied via a USB cord using a 5V 2A adapter.

Questions about this item

How do I install the AFMAT PSX6 and what step do people often miss?

Plug the included power cord into a 5V 2A adapter (not included) to charge the internal battery, then insert a pencil 7-11.5 mm in diameter; the sharpener auto-grips, sharpens, and ejects.

What maintenance or replacement will the PSX6 need later?

The stainless-steel blade is removable and replaceable (ASIN); empty the large shavings tray regularly and swap the blade when it dulls.

What limit appears first during sustained use of the PSX6?

Pencils shorter than 2.9 inches can jam the mechanism, so stop sharpening at that length to avoid stoppages.
