Fully Automatic Pencil Sharpener

The AFMAT PSX8BK is a rechargeable electric sharpener that feeds and ejects pencils automatically, making it suitable for classrooms, home offices and art studios. Its hands-free operation helps children, artists and anyone with limited hand strength sharpen coloured pencils without fatigue or mess.

ABS Housing with Helical Blade

The sharpener uses a stainless-steel helical blade inside an ABS housing to centre pencils up to 8 mm in diameter, including standard, oval and hexagonal profiles. Two sharpness settings let users choose a fine point for detail work or a blunter tip for shading and softer cores, while the auto-stop function prevents over-sharpening down to 2.36 inches.

Rechargeable 7-8 mm Capacity

Because the sharpener only accepts pencils between 7 and 8 mm, larger jumbo pencils or very thin leads cannot be used. The internal battery limits continuous sessions to the charge available, so heavy classroom use may require periodic recharging rather than unlimited mains operation.

Questions about this item

How does the automatic feed and eject work on the PSX8BK?

Insert a 7-8 mm pencil and the sharpener pulls it in, sharpens, then pushes it out when the tip is ready.

What desk space and power does the PSX8BK need?

The ABS housing weighs 0.49 kg and runs on its built-in rechargeable battery, so no outlet is required during use.

How do I switch between the two sharpness settings without jamming the blade?

Slide the bottom switch to sharp or blunt before inserting the pencil; changing it mid-cycle can stall the helical blade.
