Thermal Imaging Rifle Scope

The AGM Global Vision Rattler V2 TS25-256 is a thermal imaging rifle scope built for close-range night hunting. It uses a 25mm Germanium lens paired with a 256x192 resolution thermal sensor. The unit offers a 3.5× to 28× magnification range and a 50 Hz refresh rate. A Picatinny mount, two rechargeable batteries, charger, USB cable, lens cloth, manual, and case are included.

Hunters Needing Fast Thermal Detection

This scope suits hunters who need fast target detection in darkness up to 1250 m/yds. The 7.0° × 5.3° field of view and 1×, 2×, 4×, 8× digital zoom help track game at close to medium distances. It is not for shooters who require a traditional optical scope for daylight use. Buyers needing a wider field of view or higher native sensor resolution should consider other options.

256x192 Sensor at 50 Hz

The 256x192 thermal sensor running at 50 Hz is the specification that defines this scope's capability. It delivers a 37 ft field of view at 100 yds with detection out to 1250 m/yds. The polycarbonate body weighs 6.34 ounces and measures 2.7"L x 2.6"W x 8.5"H. This sensor and refresh rate combination determines effective recognition range and motion clarity.

The package contains the scope, a Picatinny mount, two rechargeable batteries, a charger, a USB cable, a lens cloth, a manual and a carry case. No extra items are required for basic operation.

How do I choose between the 3.5× optical base and the 28× maximum magnification?

Start at 3.5× for the widest 7.0° × 5.3° field of view, then increase magnification up to 28× or use the 1×, 2×, 4× and 8× digital zoom steps to narrow the view for distant targets.

What does the 1250 m detection range mean in practice?

A human-sized target can be detected at up to 1250 metres or yards with the 25 mm Germanium lens and 256×192 sensor running at 50 Hz; recognition and identification distances will be shorter.
