12-pack acoustic foam for home studios

The set contains twelve black panels measuring 12.0 by 12.0 by 2 inches each. They are designed to reduce flutter echoes, reverberation and unwanted reflections in small to medium rooms. Podcasters, home-theatre owners and project-studio builders can treat a useful surface area straight from the box. No adhesive or mounting hardware is included.

Sustained absorption in daily use

The thick foam core maintains its shape during long recording or mixing sessions, so absorption performance stays consistent over time. Fireproof and eco-friendly materials mean the panels do not degrade or release odours when the room warms up. They continue to tame mid-to-high frequencies hour after hour without sagging or crumbling.

Lightweight tiles for flexible placement

Each 30.5-centimetre square is light enough to attach with spray adhesive, double-sided tape or push pins on walls and ceilings. The uniform black finish blends into studios, podcast booths, churches or utility closets without drawing attention. Panels can be rearranged or removed cleanly when the room layout changes.

Questions about this item

Does the 12.0 x 12.0 x 2 inch foam panel release any odour or heat when covering a wall all day?

The acoustic foam is described as eco-friendly and fireproof, with no mention of odour or heat emission during continuous use.

What mounting supplies do I need to install the 12 black panels on a bare wall?

The pack contains only the 12 foam panels; adhesive, pins, or another mounting method must be supplied separately.

Will the 30.5 cm thick panels block enough bass to improve recordings in a room that still has thin drywall?

The panels are designed to reduce flutter echo, reverberation and waves in small to medium rooms, but they are absorbers, not a complete sound barrier.
