8GB internal storage with large external support

Built-in 8GB memory holds a modest library of media files. For larger collections the player reads USB 2.0/3.0 drives and SD cards up to 256GB and hard drives up to 14TB in NTFS or EXFAT format. Simultaneous HDMI and VGA output is limited to 1080p resolution.

Plug-and-play digital signage and home theatre

No network, server or software setup is required — insert media and press play. The remote provides fast forward, repeat, zoom, subtitle and loop functions suited to store displays or waiting areas. Buyers who need built-in Wi-Fi, streaming apps or internal storage beyond 8GB should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will this media player send 4K@30Hz video to my older 1080p TV through the HDMI port?

Yes, the HDMI output supports 4K@30Hz but will downscale to 1080p for displays that only accept that resolution, so your older TV will still show the picture.

How can I confirm the player is outputting 4K@30Hz after I connect it?

Check the on-screen information menu while a 3840x2160 file plays; it should report 4K@30Hz, and your TV's info banner will also show 3840x2160 at 30Hz when the signal is correct.

Does the box include an HDMI cable, or do I need to buy one separately?

The supplier description only lists an analog AV cable as included; an HDMI cable and any VGA cable must be purchased separately.
