Dedicated fit for 9.7 iPad 2017 and 2018

This waterproof case is engineered exclusively for the Apple iPad 5th and 6th generation 9.7-inch models A1893, A1954, A1822 and A1823. It will not fit any other iPad. The full-sealed enclosure adds IP68-rated water protection and MIL-STD-810F-516 drop certification while keeping the tablet functional.

IP68 submersion and included lanyard

The case survives full submersion to 6.6 feet for one hour, letting you shoot photos or video while swimming or diving. A neck and shoulder strap is supplied, so the iPad can be worn hands-free during outdoor activities. Dust, snow and dirt are blocked by the sealed cover, and the built-in screen protector maintains touch sensitivity for photography, videography or email.

Snap-on installation with precise port cut-outs

The two-piece design snaps together around the tablet; power and volume buttons remain easily reachable through exact cut-outs. Transparent ultra-thin windows on both sides preserve full touch-screen response. The only common issue is ensuring the seals are completely clean before closing, otherwise water resistance can be compromised.

Questions about this item

How often will the built-in screen protector need replacing?

The screen protector is integrated into the sealed case and is not designed to be user-replaceable. If it becomes scratched or damaged, the entire case would need to be swapped for a new one.

What depth and duration limit does the IP68 rating impose for underwater use?

The IP68 rating certifies submersion to 6.6 feet (2 meters) for up to 1 hour. Exceeding that depth or time risks water ingress and voids the protection guarantee.

Does the fully sealed design trap heat during all-day use?

The full-sealed cover stops dust and water but also limits passive airflow. Extended heavy workloads may cause the iPad to throttle performance sooner than in an open case.
