140 mm single-fan cooling pad

The AICHESON K1-5V is a laptop cooling pad built around one 140 mm fan that spins from 300 to 2200 RPM. It supports notebooks from 14 to 17.3 inches and draws 5 W from a DC 5 V USB connection. A metal-and-ABS frame measures 16.85" x 12.44" x 3" and weighs 3.5 lb.

Sustained airflow at 89 CFM

At full speed the fan moves 89 CFM while noise rises to 52 dBA, dropping to 28 dBA at the lowest RPM. The magnetic memory foam seal directs that flow under the chassis instead of leaking around the edges, so temperatures stay lower during long sessions rather than only during brief bursts.

Check USB power and laptop footprint

The pad needs a single USB 2.0 port for power and provides two USB 2.0 pass-through ports for peripherals. Verify your laptop fits within the 16.85" x 12.44" surface and that the 3" height with seven angle settings from 20° to 40° clears your desk space.

How loud is the 140 mm fan at its highest 2200 RPM speed?

The fan runs at up to 52 dBA when spinning at 2200 RPM, dropping to 28 dBA at the minimum 300 RPM setting.

Does the pad need anything beyond the supplied USB-A cable to power the fan and the two extra USB 2.0 ports?

No, the single USB-A-to-A cable draws 5 V / 5 W from your laptop or a standard USB charger and powers both the fan and the two downstream USB 2.0 ports.

Will the metal baffles and magnetic memory foam hold a 17.3 inch laptop securely at the steepest 40° angle?

Yes, the pad supports laptops up to 17.3 inches and offers seven height settings from 20° to 40°, with anti-slip metal baffles and magnetic memory foam to keep the device in place.
