AICHESON S039 cooling pad for 12–15.6 inch laptops

The AICHESON S039 is a USB-powered laptop cooling pad fitted with six fans and blue LED lighting. It supports notebooks from 12 to 15.6 inches and provides a metal mesh surface plus adjustable angles between 16 and 30 degrees for improved airflow and typing comfort. Two integrated USB 2.0 ports let you connect a mouse, keyboard or other peripherals without using a laptop port. The unit weighs 695 g and measures 13.58" × 9.84" × 1.26".

Practical limits of USB 2.0 power and connectivity

The pad draws 4–5 W at 5 V from a single USB-A connection, so it runs from any standard laptop port or USB charger. Each of the two extra ports is limited to USB 2.0 speeds, making them suitable for input devices or flash drives but not for high-bandwidth storage or video. Six fans share the same 5 V supply, so maximum airflow is constrained by the port’s current capability.

Check laptop footprint

Verify that your notebook’s base fits within the 13.58" × 9.84" platform and that its bottom vents align with the six fan positions. Ensure a free USB-A port is available for power; if only USB-C is present, an adapter or hub will be required. The folded height of 1.26" adds to the overall stack, so confirm desk or bag clearance. Buyers needing support for 17-inch or larger laptops should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the S039 with 6 fans or one of the models with more fans like the AA2 or AA3?

The S039 uses 6 fans and supports laptops up to 15.6 inches. The AA2 has 15 fans for 15–18 inch laptops, while the AA3 has 8 fans for 15.6–17.3 inch laptops. Choose based on your laptop size.

What does the adjustable angle range of 16–30 degrees actually do for my laptop?

It lets you tilt the metal mesh surface between 16 and 30 degrees, giving you a choice of typing and viewing angles that reduce wrist and neck strain during long sessions.

The pad has two USB 2.0 ports — what can I realistically plug into them?

They provide 5 V power from the same USB cable that runs the fans, so you can connect low-draw peripherals such as a mouse or keyboard without needing an extra wall adapter.
