Label holder for shelf organisation

The Aigner Index 481506 label holder is a self-adhesive PVC strip designed to identify contents on shelves, bins or racks. Each pack contains six clear and white holders measuring 1-1/2 inches wide by 48 inches long. The slide-in style allows quick label changes without removing the holder.

Consistent adhesion during daily use

The PVC construction resists cracking and keeps its smooth clear finish when subjected to repeated handling in busy storage areas. Adhesive backing maintains grip on clean surfaces through normal temperature variations. The 1/32 inch thickness adds minimal profile while protecting inserted labels from dust and abrasion.

Low-maintenance material and finish

Smooth PVC surfaces wipe clean with a damp cloth and do not require special cleaners. The clear and white colour combination stays legible under standard lighting without glare. No power draw or moving parts are involved, so the holders operate silently and add no heat to the storage environment.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the self-adhesive PVC label holder generate when left on a shelf all day?

The PVC label holder is a passive plastic strip with no electronics, so it produces no heat at all during continuous use.

What surface must I already have clean and ready for the 1-1/2 in by 48 in self-adhesive backing to stick properly?

Any smooth shelf, bin or rack surface works; just wipe it clean and dry before pressing the adhesive strip into place.

Will the 1/32 in thick clear PVC holder fit over the thicker wire shelves I already own?

The slide-in channel accepts standard label cards, and the thin 1/32 in profile sits flat on wire or solid shelves without interfering with shelf spacing.
