Countertop compost bags for small bins

These 1.6 gallon bags fit any countertop bin of that capacity or smaller. They are made from cornstarch and certified for home composting, so they break down completely in six to twelve months. The pack contains fifty bags for weekly refresh cycles.

0.18 mm thickness handles 15 lb loads

Each bag is 0.18 mm thick and rated for a 15 pound load capacity. That handles a full week of heavy food scraps without tearing or leaking. Wet waste and sharp edges stay contained, so double-bagging is unnecessary.

Recyclable box doubles as dispenser

The box is 100 percent recyclable and works as a built-in dispenser for the roll. No extra accessories are bundled, but the bags pair with charcoal filters and a wheat straw bin if odour control is wanted.

Questions about this item

Will these 1.6 gallon bags fit the countertop bin I already use?

They are compatible with any countertop bin that holds 1.6 gallons or less, so your existing bin should work if it matches that capacity.

How can I confirm the 0.18 mm bags are performing as intended during use?

They should stretch under loads up to 15 lbs without leaking or tearing, and the recyclable box dispenses one bag at a time for a clean weekly refresh.

What comes in the pack and do I need to buy anything else to start composting?

The pack contains 50 cornstarch bags in a 100% recyclable dispenser box; no extra items are required, though charcoal filters and a wheat-straw bin are available separately.
