Extra-large coffee storage

The AirScape Kilo canister holds 1.1 kilograms of dry beans, equivalent to 2.2 pounds, making it the largest patented coffee storage available. Its alloy steel body blocks harmful UV rays that degrade coffee quality. The patented inner plunger lid forces excess oxygen out and locks out humidity, preserving freshness far longer than typical airtight containers. A satisfying swoosh sound confirms the air-less seal is active.

Passive preservation performance

The canister operates without power, fans or noise, relying solely on the manual plunger mechanism to create an air-less environment. Alloy steel construction provides durable, corrosion-resistant protection for stored contents. The two-way valve lid requires no electricity or maintenance to function. This passive design keeps coffee, tea, flour, sugar, herbs, nuts and other dry goods fresh indefinitely.

Countertop footprint and utility

The unit measures 20.3 length by 18.4 width by 18.4 height centimetres, with an overall weight of 1.18 kilograms. Its cylindrical shape fits standard pantry shelves while the wide diameter accommodates large bags of fresh roasted coffee. The set includes the canister and airtight two-way valve lid, freeing you from single-use packaging waste. Suitable for any dry perishable goods beyond coffee.

Questions about this item

How do I install the inner plunger lid and what step do people often miss?

Press the plunger lid down until you hear the swoosh sound, then flip the handle to lock the two-way valve; skipping the handle flip leaves the valve open and air re-enters.

What maintenance will the AirScape Kilo canister need over time?

Hand-wash the alloy-steel body and both lids with mild soap, dry thoroughly, and occasionally check the valve seal for residue that could prevent a full lock.

What limit appears first during sustained daily use of the 1.1 kg canister?

The two-way valve seal is the first component that can wear; if debris prevents a tight lock, oxygen exchange resumes and freshness protection drops.
