Studio Microphone Bundle

The AKG Lyra is a multipattern USB condenser microphone bundled with studio monitor headphones, a pop filter and an XLR cable. It targets streamers, podcasters and musicians who need a complete desktop recording kit. The design references the classic C414 look for on-camera appeal. Everything connects directly to a computer or mobile device without extra hardware.

24-bit / 192 kHz Conversion

The microphone captures audio at 24-bit depth and 192 kHz sample rate, which defines the resolution available for every recording. Its Adaptive Capsule Array uses four condenser capsules to deliver four selectable pickup patterns. This single specification determines whether the unit meets your fidelity and pattern-flexibility requirements.

USB Plug-and-Play Setup

Connect the Lyra to a Mac, Windows, iOS or Android device via USB and monitor through the 3.5 mm headphone jack on the base. Onboard controls handle pattern selection, gain, headphone volume and mute without driver installation. The bundle supplies the pop filter and XLR cable, freeing you from sourcing those accessories separately.

Questions about this item

What does 24-bit 192 kHz mean for my recordings?

The built-in converter captures audio at studio-grade 24-bit depth and 192 kHz sample rate, so you record podcasts, streams or music with far more detail than standard CD quality.

How does the USB connection limit what I can do?

The USB link carries both power and digital audio, letting you plug straight into Mac, Windows, iOS or Android without drivers, but it cannot connect to an XLR preamp or mixer.

Will the mic fit on my existing boom arm or stand?

The Lyra includes a built-in shockmount with a standard thread, so it screws onto most desktop stands, boom arms or floor stands that accept a 3/8-inch or 5/8-inch adapter.
