AKG Acoustics Project Studio P220 Condenser Microphone Bundle with Pop Filter, XLR Cable, Shockmount and Case

Studio condenser for vocal and instrument recording

The AKG P220 is a large-diaphragm cardioid condenser microphone designed for project-studio recording of lead vocals, acoustic guitar and brass instruments. Its 1-inch true condenser capsule captures detailed sound while the cardioid pattern rejects off-axis noise. The bundle adds a pop filter, XLR cable, spider shockmount and aluminium carry case for immediate session readiness.

Sustained high-SPL handling

A switchable -20 dB pad lets the microphone accept sound pressure levels up to 155 dB without distortion, so close-miking loud amplifiers or brass stays clean during long takes. The low-cut filter at 300 Hz reduces rumble and proximity build-up that can accumulate over extended recording periods. Both controls are hardware switches, so behaviour remains consistent without software latency or recall issues.

Metal chassis, shockmount

The microphone body uses a rugged all-metal construction that resists dents and corrosion from repeated studio moves. The included spider shockmount isolates the capsule from floor-borne vibration and stand resonance during sessions. An aluminium carry case protects the microphone, pop filter and cable as a single kit, while the supplied XLR-to-XLR cable provides a balanced connection ready for any standard interface or mixer input.
