Purpose-built lid for stack-and-nest containers

The Akro-Mils 35301RED lid fits the 35300 stack-and-nest container and secures with a one-side snap mechanism. It is moulded from red plastic and meets FDA and USDA standards for direct contact applications. Buyers who need a different colour, a hinged lid or a latching system on both sides will not find those options here.

Thermals noise and power draw

As a passive plastic cover the lid adds no heat, noise or electrical load to the storage system. It simply rests on the container rim and locks in place with the single snap feature. There are no moving parts, fans or power connections to consider.

Bundled accessories and software

The lid includes integrated zip-tie holes that allow tamper-evident or security fastening without extra hardware. No software, labels or mounting kits are supplied in the package. Users who require pre-printed labels, RFID tags or a different hole pattern must source those separately.

Questions about this item

How do I snap the 35301RED lid onto the 35300 container without bending the one-side clips?

Align the lid corners with the container rim, press the snap-edge down first, then run firm pressure along the three free sides until each clip clicks; the rectangular shape means the long edges need even force to avoid a partial seal.

Will the red plastic of the 35301RED lid fade or become brittle from cleaning agents used in FDA/USDA environments?

The lid material is listed as FDA compliant and USDA approved, so standard sanitising chemicals for food-contact surfaces will not degrade the plastic or change the red colour under normal cleaning cycles.

At what load does the 35301RED lid start to bow on a fully stacked 35300 container?

The one-side snap design and 29 1/2 by 19 1/2 inch footprint distribute weight across the container walls; bowing only appears when stacked contents exceed the container’s own rated capacity, not from the lid itself.
