Alera Siskin Managers Chair

The Alera ALESK4244 Siskin office chair delivers a streamlined design with a sleek, modern aesthetic. It features a gray fabric seat and back paired with a chrome base for a professional appearance. This chair suits managers and general office workers seeking reliable performance in a contemporary style.

Simple assembly with standard components

The chair ships in one carton and assembles using the included hardware and instructions. Most users complete the build in a short time with basic tools. A common issue is overlooking the height adjustment lever location during initial setup, which controls the pneumatic lift mechanism.

Weight limit and fixed dimensions

The pneumatic cylinder supports users up to 275 lb and adjusts seat height between 16.93 and 20.67 inches. Buyers needing a higher weight capacity or a wider seat range will find this model unsuitable. The fixed armrests and base diameter also limit customisation for specialised ergonomic requirements.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the seat height adjusts through the full 16.93 to 20.67 inch range after assembly?

Sit in the chair and operate the pneumatic lever; the seat should move smoothly from the lowest stop at 16.93 inches to the highest stop at 20.67 inches without binding or drifting.

What components ship in the ALESK4244 box and which items such as casters or a headrest must be purchased separately?

The box contains the seat cushion, mesh back frame, chrome base, gas lift cylinder, casters and all bolts needed for assembly; no headrest or upgraded casters are included.

The model ALESK4244 lists a 275 lb capacity — how do I decide if this version suits my weight versus a lighter-duty model?

Choose this chair if you weigh 275 lb or less; the gas lift and base are rated for that limit, so heavier users should select a model with a higher capacity rating.
