Alera Dual Wheel Hooded Casters B Stem

These replacement casters are designed for Alera seating and sold as a five-piece set. Each wheel carries a 100 lb. load rating and features a matte black finish. Light assembly is required and typically takes under 15 minutes.

Upgrade from worn or damaged original casters

Replace cracked, noisy or seized wheels that no longer roll smoothly on hard floors or carpet. The jump is worth it when the chair becomes difficult to move or the stem sockets show excessive play.

Check stem type and seating compatibility

Verify that your chair uses a B-stem fitting with a 1 1/2" caster diameter before ordering. These casters are intended for most Alera models and may not fit other brands or stem styles.

Questions about this item

What stem size do these casters need to fit my chair?

They use a B-type stem measuring 1 1/2 inches, designed for most Alera seating models.

How do I install them and what step causes trouble?

Light assembly takes under 15 minutes; the common mistake is not pressing the B stem fully into the socket until it clicks.

When should I replace the wheels on a heavy chair?

Each wheel is rated for 100 lb, so replace the set once the combined load regularly exceeds that limit or the hooded wheels show cracking.
