Compact mobile pedestal for home offices

The Alera Sedina Series F/F pedestal measures 15 3/8 inches wide by 20 inches deep by 26 5/8 inches high. It provides two file drawers on locking casters in a modern walnut finish for letter-size filing.

Check drawer clearance and floor protection

Verify the 15 3/8 inch width fits your desk overhang or cubby opening. Confirm the 20 inch depth allows full drawer extension without hitting a wall. Ensure your flooring suits the supplied casters and the 67.1 lb weight.

Replaces fixed pedestals when mobility matters

This unit upgrades from stationary file cabinets that cannot be repositioned. The jump is worth it when you need to roll files between work zones or clear floor space for cleaning. It does not suit users needing lateral drawers or fire-rated storage.

Questions about this item

Does the Alera SE521620WA pedestal arrive fully assembled or do I need to fit the casters and drawer fronts myself?

The unit ships assembled; the casters are already installed so you only need to position it and load the drawers.

The specs list 15 3/8 inch width and 22.640 inch overall width — which figure should I use when planning the space under my desk?

Use the 22.640 inch overall width; the 15 3/8 inch measurement is the cabinet body without the caster overhang.

With a 67.1000 lb shipping weight, will the pedestal roll smoothly on carpet or do I need a chair mat?

The dual-wheel casters roll on low-pile carpet, but a chair mat reduces effort and protects the carpet fibres.
