Smart RFID deadbolt for keyless entry

The Alfred DB2S smart deadbolt replaces a standard deadbolt and adds a built-in RFID card reader with an illuminated touchscreen. It stores up to 250 unique RFID cards and 250 PIN codes for household members or tenants. Communication is secured with 128-bit encryption over Bluetooth to the Alfred Home app on iOS and Android.

Powered by rechargeable lithium-ion pack

A rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack eliminates alkaline battery changes and provides a low-battery warning on the lock and in the app. The lock auto-relocks after an adjustable timer, keeping the door secured without manual effort. Local Bluetooth operation means normal locking and unlocking work without an internet connection.

DIY retrofit with optional Wi-Fi bridge

Installation follows a digital BILT guide and uses existing deadbolt holes, so no new drilling is required. The lock includes a mechanical key cylinder for backup entry and two RFID tags to start. Adding the Alfred Connect Wi-Fi bridge enables remote monitoring and control when away from home, while the lock itself manages unlimited shareable Bluetooth keys locally.

What maintenance will the Alfred DB2S need over time?

Recharge the built-in lithium-ion pack when the low-battery warning appears; no alkaline battery swaps are required.

What limit appears first during heavy daily use of the Alfred DB2S?

The lock stores up to 250 RFID cards and 250 PIN codes; once either list is full you must delete entries before adding new ones.
