Pocket stone for knives and small tools

The Ali Industries 6050 pocket stone is designed to sharpen pocket knives and small tool blades. Its compact aluminum oxide construction makes it suitable for field touch-ups and workshop maintenance. It fits easily in a pocket or tool pouch for on-the-go edge care.

3 In x 7/8 In x 3/8 In sharpening surface

The stone provides a 3 Inch by 7/8 Inch working face with a 3/8 Inch depth for comfortable grip and control. It handles routine honing of folding knives, chisels and similar small edges. Larger blades or heavy material removal will exceed its practical surface area.

Questions about this item

Will the 7/8 In. x 3 In. pocket stone fit in the same tool roll as my older sharpening stones?

The stone measures 7/8 In. wide by 3 In. long by 3/8 In. deep, so it slides into most compact rolls designed for small bench stones.

How can I tell the aluminum oxide stone is cutting correctly after I start using it?

A steady slurry forms on the surface and the blade edge begins to reflect light evenly as material is removed.
