What it is and who it's for

Red Wings: American Aces is a downloadable PC game published by All In! Games and developed by Ironbird Creations. It releases on Steam with an indie arcade shooter take on World War I aerial combat. The title suits players who want quick dogfights in a comic-book art style and do not require a physical disc.

Capacity and headroom

The package includes 15 distinct warplanes with unique skins and a campaign spanning 30 missions playable solo or in local co-op for two pilots. Online lobbies support up to 9 other players across modes such as Last Man Standing and squad battles for teams of up to 5. Players seeking a deep simulation flight model or massive persistent worlds will not find those systems here.

Thermals noise and power draw

As a digital Steam code the product generates no heat, noise or power draw of its own; those characteristics depend entirely on the host computer running the game. Activation requires a Steam account and an internet connection. Buyers without reliable broadband or who prefer DRM-free offline installers cannot use this version.
