What it is and who it's for

The Allen Company 17251 ammo pouch holds 14 rifle cartridges in a black cotton blend shell. It is built for hunters or range shooters who want a compact, belt-mounted carrier that keeps rounds organised and within quick reach.

What to check on your existing setup

The pouch measures 4.5 in by .5 in by 5 in and fastens with a buckle and snap combination. Verify that your belt width and thickness allow the buckle to close fully and that the snap aligns without strain before you head out.

How it behaves under sustained load

The side-release closure is designed to open quietly and stay secure during long days in the field. Cotton blend material resists abrasion from repeated belt movement while keeping cartridges from rattling as you walk or sit.

Questions about this item

What comes inside the Allen Company 17251 pouch and do I need to buy a belt separately?

The pouch itself is the only item included; it fastens to your own belt with the buckle and snap closure so a belt is not supplied.

How do I decide between the 14-cartridge capacity and any other version of the 17251?

Model 17251 is offered in this single 14-cartridge size, so there is no alternative capacity to choose from.

What does the 14-cartridge capacity mean when the pouch is worn on a standard 1.5-inch belt?

It holds fourteen rifle cartridges in individual loops that stay secure and open quietly via the side-release snap while attached to the belt.
