What it is

The allentian BE16 Ice Tray Series is a pair of true wireless in-ear earphones finished in black. They use Bluetooth 5.3 for a stable link up to about 10 metres and pack 10mm drivers covering 20Hz to 20kHz. The set is aimed at listeners who want a compact, cable-free option for music and calls without a bulky headband.

Build fit

Each earpiece holds a 30mAh cell giving about 3 hours of talk time or 6 hours of playback on a single charge. The charging case adds a 300mAh reserve that extends total listening to roughly 36 hours and can be topped up in about 1.5 hours via its 5V input. This removes the need to carry a separate power bank for daily commutes.

Accessory impact

The case supplies the extra 30 hours of combined battery life and protects the buds when not in use. Touch controls on the earpieces handle playback, volume and call management so the phone can stay in a pocket. A built-in microphone supports high-definition voice calls, while stereo output handles music — no extra cables or adapters are required.
