Car-Shaped Wireless Mouse

The allentian CM0010B is a 1200 DPI wireless mouse moulded in a yellow car-shaped ABS shell. Three buttons and a scroll wheel provide standard left, right and middle-click functions for everyday desktop work. It is aimed at users who want a distinctive pointing device rather than a conventional ergonomic shape. Power comes from two AAA batteries which are not included in the package.

2.4 GHz Wireless Range

A small USB receiver operates on a 2.4 GHz frequency and maintains a connection up to ten metres from the host computer. The link is a simple radio connection with no pairing software required, so it works on any system that supports a standard USB HID mouse. Obstructions or other 2.4 GHz devices may reduce the practical range below the stated maximum. No wired option or alternative wireless protocol is provided.

Build and Daily Use

The body measures 11.7 by 6 by 4.3 centimetres and weighs 120 grams without batteries. A UV-coated mirror finish covers the ABS plastic, while the scroll wheel uses a soft rubber surface designed to resist slipping and sweat. Left and right buttons are rated for a positive click feel, and the wheel rotates freely without interfering with the car-shaped silhouette. The fixed shape may not suit users who prefer a traditional contoured grip.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the yellow version or one of the other three colours?

The mouse comes in four colours including yellow; choose the shade you prefer as all share the same 1200 DPI sensor, 2.4 GHz wireless link and three-button layout.

How does the 1200 DPI sensor feel in daily work?

At 1200 DPI the cursor moves briskly across a 1080p screen without feeling twitchy, and the soft-rubber scroll wheel adds grip for long browsing sessions.

What does the 2.4 GHz wireless link actually limit?

The 2.4 GHz receiver works up to 10 metres away, so desk clutter or a living-room TV setup stays within reliable range.
