Half-moon gold earphones

The allentian Half Moon earphones are Bluetooth 4.2 wireless in-ear headphones finished in gold. They ship with a compact charging case that holds the buds when not in use. The set is aimed at listeners who want a lightweight, truly wireless option for daily commuting or casual listening.

Build fit and power needs

Each bud carries a 40mAh rechargeable lithium cell while the case provides a 500mAh reserve at 3.7V. A full charge of the case takes about 1.5 hours and yields roughly 3 hours of talk time or 2.5 hours of music playback. Standby reaches around 80 hours so the kit can sit in a bag between uses without frequent top-ups.

Charging case and connection

The supplied case stores and recharges the earphones, removing the need for separate cables during the day. Bluetooth 4.2 maintains a stable link up to 10 metres from the source device. Distortion is rated at 1 percent across a 20Hz-20KHz frequency response range. The total package weighs 65g.

Questions about this item

How long will the 40mAh earbud battery last before I need to place them back in the charging box?

The earbuds deliver about 2.5 hours of music playback or 3 hours of talk time per charge, so a full day of intermittent listening will require at least one top-up from the case.

Do the earphones or the 500mAh charging case become noticeably warm during extended use?

Both pieces stay at a comfortable temperature; the low-power Bluetooth 4.2 link and small 40mAh cells generate minimal heat even after multi-hour sessions.

What charging cable must I already own to replenish the case's 500mAh battery?

The case charges via a standard micro-USB cable, so any existing micro-USB lead and USB power source will work.
