Allentian T40 White Wireless Mouse

The Allentian T40 White is a three-mode wireless mouse that connects via 2.4G, BT5.1 and a second BT5.1 channel for up to three devices. It uses an ABS shell with a metal roller and a 500mAH rechargeable battery. Adjustable DPI steps of 1000, 1600, 2400 and 4000 are indicated by coloured LEDs. Seven buttons include a DPI switch that activates scroll-wheel volume control after a long press.

Who This Suits And Who Should Look Elsewhere

Buyers who want a single mouse for a laptop, a tablet and a desktop will appreciate the triple-pairing and 10m working range. The 30inch/s tracking speed, 4800 FPS refresh rate and 10G acceleration suit fast-paced gaming. The ergonomic shape fits larger palms for daily comfort. Users who need more than seven programmable buttons or a lighter chassis for claw-grip play should consider other models.

Bundled Accessories And Their Impact

The package includes a USB receiver for instant 2.4G connectivity, a 75cm Type-C charging cable for wired top-ups and an English instruction sheet. The receiver enables low-latency use without Bluetooth pairing, while the cable keeps the 500mAH battery topped up during extended sessions. No additional software or spare feet are supplied, so customisation is limited to the onboard DPI and volume controls.

Questions about this item

Do I need to keep a USB port free for the 2.4 GHz receiver to use this mouse?

The mouse includes a USB receiver for 2.4G mode, but it also supports two Bluetooth connections so you can link up to three devices without the dongle.

Will the scroll wheel feel different if I switch from a mouse with a standard encoder?

This model uses a metal roller; a long press on the DPI button for two seconds activates volume adjustment on that wheel.

How can I confirm the 4000 DPI setting is active after I change it?

The DPI indicator lights purple when the sensor is set to 4000 DPI, while red, green and blue correspond to the three lower steps.
