What it is and who it’s for

The allentian X1 Neo Black is a pair of true wireless earbuds built for daily listening and casual gaming. Bluetooth 5.3 gives a stable link up to 10 metres, and the half-in-ear shape stays comfortable during long sessions. The matte translucent case lets you see the buds while they charge. It suits commuters, students and anyone wanting cable-free audio without a bulky fit.

Capacity and headroom

Each earbud holds a 30 mAh cell for up to 5 hours of continuous play, while the case adds a 310 mAh reserve for multiple top-ups. A full recharge takes about 1.5 hours via the Type-C port. IPX4 splash resistance handles light rain or sweat, but the buds are not rated for submersion or high-pressure water. Battery life drops with louder volumes or constant codec negotiation.

Practical limits of Bluetooth 5.3

The 10-metre range assumes open space; walls and bodies cut the usable distance. Supported protocols are SBC, A2DP, AVRCP, HFP and HSP, so advanced codecs such as aptX or LDAC are not available. Ultra-low latency helps casual gaming, yet competitive players may still notice delay compared with a wired connection. Touch controls handle playback and calls, but there is no companion app for remapping or firmware updates.

Questions about this item

Will the Bluetooth 5.3 earbuds stay connected to a laptop that only has an older Bluetooth adapter?

Bluetooth 5.3 is backward compatible with earlier Bluetooth versions, so the earbuds will pair and work with older adapters, though the 10 m range and low latency benefits require a 5.3 host.

How do I confirm the IPX4 waterproof rating is effective after I start using them?

After exposure to sweat or light rain, check that audio plays normally and the touch controls respond; IPX4 means the buds resist splashing water from any direction.

Which accessories are included in the box and what must I buy separately?

The package contains the two earbuds, the 310 mAh charging case with a Type-C port, and a short Type-C cable; a USB power adapter for the case is not included.
