Victorian Queen Metal Bed Frame

The Allewie BQ is a queen-size metal platform bed with a Victorian-style wrought iron headboard and footboard. Powder-coated black steel slats support the mattress directly, removing the need for a box spring. The frame measures 82.9 by 60.6 by 47.6 inches and stands 12.4 inches off the floor. Assembly is required and takes about 30 minutes with included tools.

Suits Classic Decor and Storage Needs

This bed fits buyers who want a vintage look and generous under-bed clearance for bins or drawers. The 800-pound capacity handles heavier mattresses and two sleepers without squeaking. Shoppers needing a low-profile frame, an upholstered headboard, or a bed that fits a non-queen mattress should consider other styles.

Weight Capacity 800 Pounds

The steel structure is rated for 800 pounds of evenly distributed load. This single figure determines whether the frame will safely support your mattress, occupants, and any additional bedding weight. Exceeding it risks structural failure, so verify your total expected load before purchase.

Questions about this item

Do the metal slats ever need tightening or replacement?

The slats are fixed metal rails designed to last the life of the frame; no periodic tightening or replacement is required.

What weight limit applies before the frame might flex?

The steel structure is rated for 800 pounds of evenly distributed load.

Does the powder-coated finish squeak or get hot after hours of use?

Powder coating prevents metal-on-metal noise and the frame stays at room temperature during normal use.
