Allied Telesis AT-X230-28GP-90 Layer 2+ Managed

This Allied Telesis switch is a Layer 2+ managed network device designed for wired infrastructure. It provides 24 PoE+ ports alongside four SFP uplink slots. The unit operates with a single fixed AC power supply in a federal configuration. It suits administrators building managed access layers.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This switch fits networks needing managed Layer 2+ features with PoE+ delivery across two dozen ports and fibre uplinks via SFP. Buyers requiring higher port density or different uplink interfaces should consider other models. Those needing redundant or hot-swappable power supplies will not find them here. Environments demanding Layer 3 routing capabilities should evaluate alternative platforms.
