Multi-display docking station

The ALOGIC DUPRMX2-100 is a USB-C docking station built for professionals who need expanded connectivity from a single port. It supports dual 4K displays at 3840 x 2160 on Windows or a single 5K display at 5120 x 2880 on Mac. The unit delivers 100W power delivery to charge a host laptop while driving peripherals.

135W total power budget

The 135W total power allocation handles 100W laptop charging alongside connected accessories without needing a separate adapter. DP Alt Mode enables video output directly through the USB-C link, removing the requirement for driver installation. An RJ-45 port adds wired Ethernet, while USB Type-A and Type-C ports provide legacy and modern peripheral support.

Driver-free installation

Setup is plug-and-play across supported operating systems, reducing deployment time for IT teams and individual users. The single USB-C host connection simplifies cable management but means the host must support DP Alt Mode and sufficient power delivery for full functionality. Systems lacking video-capable USB-C ports cannot use the display outputs. TAA compliance suits government procurement requirements.

Questions about this item

Will the 100 W Power Delivery port need replacement after heavy daily charging?

The 100 W Power Delivery port is rated for the full 135 W total power budget and uses standard USB-C connectors designed for repeated mating cycles. No user-serviceable parts are inside the dock.

What limits dual 4K output during an all-day work session?

Windows systems are capped at dual 4K at 3840 x 2160 via DP Alt Mode; macOS is limited to a single 5K display at 5120 x 2880. The host GPU and cable quality become the practical ceiling.

How much heat or fan noise appears when the dock runs at 135 W continuously?

The aluminium chassis passively dissipates heat from the 135 W total load; there is no internal fan, so operation stays silent even under sustained full-power delivery and dual-display use.
