Three-DisplayPort Docking Station

The ALOGIC DUPRMX3-WW provides three DisplayPort outputs, three USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports, an RJ-45 jack, full-size and micro SD card readers, a 3.5 mm audio jack and one USB Type-C port in a 7.48" x 3.54" x 0.26" enclosure weighing 1.18 lbs. It is built for users who need to connect three external monitors and multiple peripherals through a single USB-C link.

Suits Multi-Monitor Desk Setups.

This dock serves professionals who run triple-monitor workstations and require wired networking plus legacy USB-A devices. Buyers whose laptops only support one external display or who lack DisplayPort Alt Mode on their USB-C port will not be able to use the three video outputs.

Three DisplayPort Outputs Decide Fit

The defining specification is the trio of DisplayPort connectors, which enables three simultaneous external screens from one host connection. If your workflow demands three monitors, this dock matches that requirement; if you only ever drive one or two displays, a simpler adapter may suffice.

Questions about this item

Does the MX3 docking station come with a host cable to connect to my laptop?

The MX3 Docking Station is the only item included; a USB-C host cable must be purchased separately.

Should I use the three DisplayPort outputs or the single USB-C port for my external monitors?

Use the three DisplayPort connectors for up to three monitors; the USB-C port is intended for data or accessory charging.

What does the 3.1 Gen 1 rating on the three USB-A ports mean for file-transfer speed?

Each USB 3.1 Gen 1 port supports up to 5 Gbps, so large files move at solid speeds when the drive can keep up.
