Nine-Port Connectivity Hub

The ALOGIC U1CSHSGR is a USB-C docking station that adds nine ports to a laptop or desktop. It targets professionals who need dual external monitors, wired networking, card readers and multiple USB peripherals from a single cable. The compact gray enclosure weighs 138 grams and fits in a small desk footprint.

Host Port and Display Checks

Verify that your computer has a USB-C port with DisplayPort Alternate Mode or Thunderbolt video output before ordering. Windows systems can drive two HDMI displays at 60 Hz each; macOS may mirror the two screens instead of extending them. Ensure your monitors accept HDMI input and that you have suitable cables for each connection.

Upgrade from Basic Adapters

This dock replaces single-port dongles or simple hubs that only offer one video output and limited USB sockets. The jump is worth it when you regularly run two Full HD monitors, need simultaneous SD and MicroSD access, or require a stable Ethernet link for video calls. It does not suit users who only need occasional single-display connectivity.

Questions about this item

What cables or accessories come in the box with the ALOGIC MX2 Lite HDMI Edition dock?

The package includes the MX2 Lite dock and its USB-C host cable; power adapters and HDMI cables for the two monitors must be purchased separately.

How do I decide between this HDMI Edition and a DisplayPort version of the MX2 Lite?

Choose this HDMI Edition when both of your external monitors have HDMI inputs; a DisplayPort model would be needed only if your screens require DisplayPort or USB-C video connections.

What does the 60 Hz figure mean for my dual-monitor setup on a Windows laptop?

Each HDMI port can drive a Full HD screen at 60 Hz simultaneously, so both monitors refresh smoothly for office work and design tasks.
