Universal Twin HD Docking Station

The ALOGIC DUTHD is a universal docking station designed for laptops and tablets with USB-C or USB-A ports. It supports dual high-definition displays to expand screen space for multitasking. The package includes a 1-metre combo cable and a power supply with AU, EU, UK, and US plug adapters. It suits professionals who need a single desk connection for monitors, peripherals, and power.

Installation and common issues

Connect the combo cable to the host device using either the USB-C or USB-A end, attach monitors to the video outputs, and plug in the supplied power supply with the correct regional adapter. The dock draws power from the external supply rather than the host. Installation fails if the host USB-C port lacks video-out capability or if the operating system does not support multi-stream transport for dual displays.

Dual-display video requirement

The decisive specification is whether the host device’s USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode or the USB-A port can drive video via DisplayLink. Without host-side video output support, the dock cannot activate its display outputs regardless of cable or power connections. Buyers who need guaranteed compatibility without checking host specifications should not purchase this dock.
