Alphacool 16 mm Hard-Tube Fitting

The Alphacool 1011013 is a G1/4 compression fitting designed to join 16 mm rigid acrylic or brass tubing in custom liquid-cooling loops. It suits builders assembling a hard-line system who need a secure, leak-free connection between tube and component.

G1/4 Thread and 16 mm Tube Compatibility

This fitting accepts a 16 mm outer-diameter tube on one end and mates with any standard G1/4 female port on the other. The knurled compression nut provides grip for hand tightening, while the internal sealing ring ensures a reliable seal without additional tools.

Chrome Finish with Bonded Coating

A chromatising process bonds the chrome layer directly to the brass body, improving colour longevity and resistance to wear. Alphacool branding is machined into the fitting, letting the single piece add a coordinated visual accent to a matching hard-tube loop.

Questions about this item

What does the 16mm size mean when I install this fitting in my loop?

It matches the outer diameter of 16mm hard tubing so the compression ring seals directly on the tube wall.

How does the G1/4 thread affect compatibility with my water-blocks and radiators?

The G1/4 BSPP thread is the standard port size on almost all custom-loop components, so it screws straight in without adapters.

What clearance do I need around the knurled nut to tighten it by hand?

The knurled grip adds only a few millimetres beyond the hex body, so a standard open-ended spanner or firm finger pressure is enough in tight bays.
