Alphacool Eisball 700 ml Reservoir

The Alphacool Eisball is a spherical reservoir combined with a D5 pump top designed for custom water-cooling loops. Its transparent nylon body holds 700 ml of coolant and measures 117.51 by 128 by 128 millimetres. The unit includes a digital RGB controller and 22 addressable LEDs housed in a chrome-plated ring.

Sustained Illumination and Flow

The digital RGB ring encircles the entire sphere for consistent lighting during extended operation. The integrated D5 pump top maintains steady coolant circulation while the transparent nylon construction allows visual monitoring of fluid levels and flow clarity over long sessions.

Mounting Compatibility Check

Verify that your case offers a 128 millimetre cube of clearance for the reservoir body. Confirm availability of a fan slot, radiator mount or 2.5 inch SSD bay for the included adhesive mat and mounting plates. Ensure your motherboard or controller provides a standard 5 volt addressable RGB header for the LED ring.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the 22 LED digital RGB ring add when the reservoir runs continuously?

The 22 addressable LEDs draw very little power, so their heat output is negligible compared with the coolant temperature in a 700 ml loop.

Which fittings and pump must I already own to install the 1016178 Eisball?

You need a standard D5 pump body, two G1/4 fittings for the inlet and outlet, and a 5 V 3-pin ARGB header on the motherboard or controller.

Will the 117.51 mm wide sphere fit beside a 2.5 inch SSD bracket in an older case?

The 117.51 mm width matches the supplied 2.5 inch mounting plate, so it can share the same bracket space if the case allows that clearance.
