Alphacool 2 in 1 Cat 7 Cable

The Alphacool 2 in 1 accessory is a Cat 7 network cable built for short, high-speed wired connections. It suits users who need reliable 10 Gbit/s throughput over a very short run. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts resist corrosion for stable signal quality.

Capacity and headroom

The .75 m length supports the full 10000 Mbit/s Cat 7 rating without signal loss. It handles 10 Gigabit Ethernet, large file transfers and low-latency streaming comfortably. The short reach limits use to devices placed close together such as a laptop and dock.

Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors

Male-to-male gold contacts are the deciding spec for buyers who need corrosion-resistant terminations. Shielded Cat 7 construction reduces crosstalk in dense cable runs. Buyers needing longer runs or different connector types should choose another cable.

Questions about this item

Will the 0.75 m Cat 7 cable reach my router if I keep the older desktop in its current spot?

The cable is 0.75 m long with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, so measure the distance between your desktop and router to confirm it will span the gap.

How can I verify the link is running at 10000 Mbit/s after I plug it in?

Check the network adapter status in your OS or the router's port LED; a negotiated 10 Gbps connection confirms the Cat 7 cable is operating at its rated speed.

Does the package include only the cable or are extra couplers supplied?

The box contains the 0.75 m Cat 7 RJ-45 male-to-male cable with gold-plated contacts; no couplers or additional adapters are included.
