Alphacool Eiszapfen G1/4 Chrome Stop Plug

This Alphacool Eiszapfen screw plug seals any standard G1/4 port in a custom liquid-cooling loop. The short thread eliminates the risk of over-tightening and damaging internal components. A durable chrome coating resists chipping and peeling while matching other Eiszapfen fittings. Supplied as a single unit for closing unused openings in radiators, blocks or reservoirs.

Suited for builders finishing a custom loop

Ideal for anyone needing a reliable, colour-matched blanking plug for G1/4 threads during assembly or maintenance. The short-thread design adds safety for shallow ports. Not for builders using non-G1/4 thread standards or those requiring a pass-through fitting for tubing connections. Buyers wanting a different aesthetic can choose the black variant from the same series.

Single plug closes one G1/4 port

Each package contains one screw plug, providing exactly one sealed opening. It handles the pressure and temperature ranges typical of desktop liquid-cooling systems. Headroom ends when more than one port must be sealed; additional units are required for each extra opening. No other capacities or multi-pack configurations are described in the data.

Questions about this item

Does this plug need a G1/4 threaded port to install?

Yes, it screws directly into any standard G1/4 opening found on water blocks, radiators, reservoirs or fittings.

Will the short thread on this chrome plug clear older components with shallow G1/4 ports?

The thread is deliberately kept short so it cannot bottom out or damage ports with limited depth, making it safe for legacy hardware.

How can I confirm the chrome coating is properly bonded after fitting the plug?

The special surface treatment prevents chipping or peeling; a correctly seated plug shows a uniform, brilliant chrome finish with the Alphacool logo visible.
